Getting started
What is FNDR Tools?
FNDR Tools is the AI-powered operating system for ecommerce founders. It connects your bank, commerce channels (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop), ad accounts (Google, Meta, TikTok), and QuickBooks — then runs four products on top: Books (bookkeeping), Pulse (daily briefings), Cash (cashflow + runway), and Tax (estimated-tax forecasting).
How long does setup take?
Most founders are connected and reading their first dashboard in under 5 minutes. Bank takes ~30 seconds via Plaid. Shopify and QuickBooks are one-click OAuth. Ad platforms take 1–2 minutes each.
Do I need to do anything before connecting?
No. Connect any one channel and the dashboard starts populating immediately. You can add the rest later — every channel is optional and independent.
Bookkeeping (Books)
Does FNDR Tools replace my bookkeeper?
Yes, for the vast majority of ecommerce founders. Books auto-categorises bank transactions, reconciles them against QuickBooks, generates month-close P&Ls, and produces CPA-ready share links. If you have a corporate-structure or international filing need, you'll still want a CPA — but the day-to-day bookkeeping work is done.
Does it work with QuickBooks?
Yes. QuickBooks Online is the system of record. FNDR Tools pushes categorised transactions to QB and pulls back the chart of accounts and reconciliation state. We never duplicate your books — QB stays canonical.
What about Xero or other systems?
Not today. QuickBooks Online only. Xero is on our roadmap.
Pricing & trial
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $49.99/month (Starter). Growth is $99/month, Scale is $199/month, Enterprise is $299.99/month. Annual billing gets a meaningful discount.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days. No credit card required to start. You can connect every channel, run the dashboards, generate close reports — full feature access during trial.
What happens at the end of trial?
If you haven't subscribed, you'll be redirected to the billing page on next sign-in. Your data is preserved for 30 days after that, so you can still come back.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. One click in the Stripe customer portal. No retention emails, no cancellation friction.
Security
How is my data secured?
Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. Every database query is filtered by org_id with Postgres row-level security. We log no access tokens. Webhooks from every provider are signature-verified and fail-closed in production.
Where is the data stored?
Supabase (Postgres) in eu-west-1. Backups are encrypted and retained per Supabase's policy.
Do you train AI on my data?
No. We use Anthropic's API for AI features. Anthropic does not train on inputs sent via the API. Your data is never used to train any model.

How do I get help?
Email support@fndr.tools. Replies typically within a few hours. Once you're in the app, the in-app support channel is faster.
Do you offer onboarding?
For Scale and Enterprise plans we offer a 30-minute white-glove onboarding call. For Starter and Growth, the in-app wizard is designed to be self-serve.
